The Official School Photo 1927.
The copy of this photo was obtained from the Dorset History Centre, Dorchester. Its reference, should anyone wish to see the original, is D-1394/2/2.
This shows a complement of 124 boys plus 8 staff including the Caretaker(?) at the extreme right.
It was taken at the old School premises in South Street just before the School moved to the newly built premises at the end of Culliford Road.
By comparing faces of the Staff with other photos under the "School Staff" page, I have been able to identify the staff in the centre of the photo
as follows (left to right):
Mr E Hobrough, Mr EF Cole, Mr T Gordon Davies, Mr RW Hill (Headmaster), Mr DS Lidbury (Deputy Headmaster), Mr TT Palmer, Mr DC Whitaker.
