The Lancashire Collection: Undated.
1 - The front of the original semi-detached Southfield House in the '40s, before being joined with 'Crossways',
the other half.
Note the barrier (left) on the fire escape between what became Dormitories 3 & 4 in the '50's.
2 - The garden area to the south of the Common Room.
3 - The driveway, seen from the original front door, looking towards the corner of Prince of Wales Road & South Walks in 1950.
Before this time, when Southfield House and Crossways were separate houses, this drive was divided in two by a hedge.
4 - 'The Management' by the driveway in the early '50s.
5 - The Guv'nor coping with the stress of a Maths lesson.
6 - Matron Elizabeth Garrett with House Cat 'Sookey'.
7 - Revans collects a prize on Sports Day, probably around 1950.
8 - Mixed feelings in Dorm 6 in the mid '50s. Left to right: Rees, J Reiss, Caselton, Sedgwick.
9 - Around the time of the Lancashires' retirement, or perhaps even later (early '60s). Left to right: M Witt, A Ballard, R Tugwell.
